Mistress Brenna's soup kitchen will not be held. However, SunDragon is organizing a Courtesy Corps to provide nourishment and water to the fighters. If you would like to donate finger foods (pickles, olives, fruit, dried meats, nuts, water, vitamin water, power drinks, etc), please bring it to the event. We'll have a Courtesy Corps area near troll where donations can be dropped off.
On Saturday evening, we're having our Mixed Weapons Potluck. If you would like to participate, please bring enough for 6-8 people. The list below is by your mundane last name:
A-I - salads & sides
J-M - breads & spreads
N-T - main dishes
U-Z - desserts
A Bardic competition will be held during the potluck. The theme is anything pertaining to WAR.
Dance will follow after the Potluck
Our most graceful and beautiful Baroness Viola Carrara has kindly offered to lead us in the dancing arts this year!
To assist those pursuing Rainbow’s Gold, the set list will include the following:
A basic Pavane or other period dance
A basic Bransle: double, single, or gai Burgundy A Country dance
A mimed Bransle: Washerwoman, Peas, etc. One other as chosen by Her Excellency
Bring your dancing shoes and join in the fun! Dancing held in Grand Pavilion
Bring your needles, thread and scissors for Combat Stitchery! This year’s theme will be coifs. The coifs made during the event will be entered into a silent auction. There will also be an artisan’s display with voting for populace choice, and impromptu classes will be held in the pavilion all weekend.
Combat Stitchery: The theme this year is coifs.
This is a TEAM effort for a much more enjoyable experience. Don’t have a team? We will find a team for you to join.
How to Get Started:
This year’s Combat Stitchery will begin as soon as you have paid Troll and have declared your interest in enlisting in Combat Stitchery by:
1. Signing in on a sheet of paper available at Troll.
2. Leaving your information at Troll
3. Check in with either Lady Isabelle le Charpentier de Normandie or HL Gepa of SunDragon (they should be within sight of Troll) and show them your supplies.
This year’s Combat Stitchery has two parts. For both parts the coifs MUST be made on site.
Part 1: Artistic – make a coif showing your artistic skills.
Part 2: Workshop – make as many coifs as you can.
ARTISITIC:
Bring what ever you need. Material, any coif pattern, thread, needle, trim, buttons, embroidery thread, scissors, straight pins and more. Material may not yet be cut out, nor may there be any markings as to where to cut. Trim may be a finished product (braided cord for example) but must still be detached. The finished product is yours to keep, after all, you brought the materials.
Judging: Overall finished project as well as skill in handiwork and design will be judged.
WORKSHOP:
Material will be provided (or you can use your own). You already have brought the equipment (scissors, needle etc.) for the “ARTISITIC.” A simple pattern will be available to trace. The object of part 2 is to make as many coifs as you can for our fighters. Yes, we will be giving these coifs out at closing court to our fighters.
Judging: Quantity and quality of finished coifs.
House Manor Rose will be hosting its traditional Mixed Weapons War free pancake breakfast on Sunday morning.
Lady Jacquelin and Lord Gregoire le Gris will be providing a hot dog lunch on Sunday afternoon.
Tips will be appreciated, but not required.
Adult members: $12 if camping all weekend, $7 for day trip
Youth (ages 16 and 17) members: $8 if camping, $5 for day trip
Non-member youth and adult: additional $5

Villains Beware!
For a small fee, we can write out a warrant to arrest your favorite villain! Oh, yes! Your favorite villain will be placed in our dungeon for his transgressions. Beware! Our constables are a rowdy bunch, and it is quite possible that they can be bribed. In which case, your villain can turn the the tide and have a warrant written out for YOUR arrest. Monies will be donated to the Barony of SunDragon to help fray the cost of ongoing expenses.

Ye Olde Dungeon
A fun game to play during the event whilst one enjoys life in the Middle Ages. Each patron of the event is given a “Get out of the Dungeon Free” card. Feel free to keep it and use it yourself, or to trade it to another person for Dragon Gems.
Objectives of the game:
1. Buy warrants to arrest the villains in your life
2. Get out of jail.
3. Monies collected will be placed in SunDragon’s General Fund
Jail time: 5 minuets
Rules:
1. Only certified Constables may write out warrants to arrest a villain.
2. Adults (18+) can pay for a warrant to arrest a villain.
3. Only members who have agreed to play “Ye Olde Dungeon” can be arrested and/or can buy an arrest warrant.
NOTE: In order not to impede the battles and other events in progress, the following will apply:
You cannot arrest someone if they are “on duty” at troll, on guard patrol, marshaling, in a tournament, in a battle scenario, teaching, a medic tending to the sick and/or injured, or currently attending our Crowns and/or Coronets.
Dragon Gems: Beautiful uncut gems of “rubies”, “emeralds”, “sapphires”, “diamonds” and more! Dragon gems are the “currency” used for this event’s “Ye Olde Dungeon” game.
Dragon Gems can be purchased only at Troll and will be sold in increments of four for $1.00.
Warrants: A paper bought to insure a villain’s arrest.
Warrants are purchased through our trustworthy Constables with no less than four dragon gems.
Warrants are delivered and arrests are by our trustworthy Constables.
One might try to bribe our trustworthy Constables for gems greater than the amount of the warrant.
If you so desire NOT to participate in this game, you will receive an alternative site token.
If you have any questions about the event or the site, please feel free to contact the event stewards, and we’ll be happy to answer your questions!
